Laser Lipolysis
Laser Lipolysis, also known as “Laser Lipo” is a non-surgical treatment for fat reduction. It uses laser energy to target and eliminate fat. This offers a way to slim and contour the body without any downtime, surgery or pain. This type of Laser Lipo is non-invasive.
How does it work?
Pads equipped with laser diodes will be placed on the treatment area. Each pad has low levels of laser energy that penetrates the fat cells and creates tiny holes in the in their membranes. The fat cells then release stored fatty acids, glycerol and water into the body and shrink resulting in inches lost in that area. Whatever is released from the fat cells will be flushed out through the lymphatic system or burned as energy. Think of fat cells as a bunch of juicy grapes. Once the laser reaches the fat cells the grapes become raisins. Heat from the laser can also stimulate collagen production to help everything look smooth and tightened.
Benefits:
- Affordable treatments compared to Liposuction surgery
- Safe & Painless
- Immediate Results
- Targeted fat loss
The ideal candidate for Laser Lipo:
- Someone more concerned with problem areas rather than total body weight loss
- is in good overall health
- has realistic expectations
How many treatments are needed?
Every person will experience different results depending on their weight, age etc. However, results usually are visible immediately. Best results are seen after a course of 6-10 treatments within a 4-5 week period up to 2 treatments per week. Best results come from being paired with other treatment like Ultrasonic Cavitation, RF Skin Tightening or Vacuum Suction.
How long do results last?
Laser Lipo does not destroy fat cells but instead empties them of their contents, the fat cells can store fat again in the future. You will need to maintain a healthy lifestyle to preserve the results of your treatment.
Weight loss or spot reduction?
This treatment is not intended to be a weight loss solution. The fat thickness in the area treated is reduced. The purpose of this treatment is to decrease the size of stubborn fat deposits that won’t go away with diet and exercise.
What areas can be treated?
- Arm
- Waist
- Abdomen
- Thighs
- Calf
- Hip
Ultrasonic Cavitation
Ultrasonic cavitation uses low-frequency ultrasound waves on subcutaneous fat cells in the fat cell membrane through a series of microscopic implosions. You may be able to see immediate results and continue to see results for the following week.
How does it work?
During a treatment ultrasound gel will be applied to the problem area and a hand piece will be used manually to do constant movements around and on the area. A mechanical vibration from the hand piece will break down the stubborn fat. The vibration creates tiny bubbles inside the fat cells causing the collection of fat inside to come out. Once the fat cells is drained it will be eliminated through the lymphatic system or burned for energy use. This treatment is used on fat that is unresponsive to diet and exercise (pinch-able fat). The most common areas proven to be unresponsive are the abdomen, upper arms and outer thighs.
Treatments?
For best results a course of 6-10 treatments are recommended over 4-5 weeks. There must be AT LEAST 3 days in between treatments. Typically for the first week or two you go twice a week and after that once per week.
Results
Most people will see measurable results after the very first treatment. The fat removal process continues for up to 3 days so you may notice change for up to 3 days.
